This handmade stained glass rainbow trout suncatcher is our weird little love letter to fishing culture, rustic cabin décor, and creatures with suspicious energy. Built from richly mottled green glass with a textured pink belly stripe and earthy fins, this trout glows beautifully in the sunlight and somehow manages to look both majestic and like he definitely knows where the cigarettes are.
The body shifts in color throughout the day as light passes through the layered green glass, while subtle purple streaking in the off-white underbelly adds extra depth and movement. Earth-toned fins with hints of blue mottle are finished with bold black solder lines for that classic stained glass look.
Hung from a rainbow chain as a tiny nod to the rainbow trout itself, this piece feels equal parts rustic fishing décor, cabin wall art, and unhinged little window goblin.

Every stained glass piece is handmade to order right here in our little home studio. Each piece is hand cut, ground, copper foiled, soldered, and finished by hand, which means no two pieces will ever be perfectly identical, and honestly, we think that’s part of the charm.
Please expect slight variations in glass pattern, texture, and solder lines compared to the photos shown. These tiny differences are what make each piece one-of-a-kind.
Because every order is made just for you, please allow a little extra processing time before shipment while we build, finish, and carefully package your piece.
We pack each order with care so it arrives safe, shiny, and ready to hang. Pip (our Lead Quality Assurance Manager and family puppy) personally supervises every package before it heads out the door.
