This handmade stained glass shrimp suncatcher is our playful little nod to the infamous “radioactive shrimp” story that had everyone talking. Thankfully, this one is completely safe. No radiation, just weird little sea creature energy and a whole lot of sunlight.
Made with colorful glass that really comes to life in the window, these little shrimp are equal parts ocean-inspired décor, quirky stained glass art, and tiny aquatic oddity. The pink version is made with shimmering iridescent glass that shifts and glows as the light moves across it, while the blue/green version uses transparent textured glass with soft, wispy patterns that show up beautifully in the sunlight.
At approximately 6.5” long, they're small enough to find a home just about anywhere but strange enough to make people stop and ask, “Wait… is that a shrimp?”

A Little Note About Handmade Glass
Every stained glass piece is made to order right here in our little home studio. Each one is hand-cut, ground, copper-foiled, soldered, and finished by hand, so no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. And honestly, we think that's part of the charm.
The photos show the general design and overall look of the piece, not an exact replica of what you'll receive. Glass patterns, textures, color variations, and solder lines may differ slightly from the images shown. Your piece will follow the same design, but the individual details will be uniquely yours.
Because each piece is made just for you, please allow additional processing time while we build, finish, and carefully package your order.
We pack every piece with care so it arrives safe and ready to hang. Pip, our Lead Quality Assurance Manager and family puppy, personally supervises every package before it heads out the door. 🐾

A Quick Safety Note
Lead Notice: Our stained glass pieces are soldered using a tin/lead alloy and sealed with wax as the finishing touch.
For everyone's safety, please follow these precautions:
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
For decorative use only. Do not ingest, chew, or lick the glass or solder. (We really shouldn't have to say that, but here we are)
For indoor display only.
Hang securely using appropriate hardware suited to your window or display area.
Do not use Command hooks, suction cups, or other hanging methods that may fail and cause your piece to fall.
Handle with care, and wash your hands after handling exposed solder. Keep damaged pieces away from children and pets.
Our stained glass pieces are made to be enjoyed, admired, and hung somewhere sunny. Please display them safely!
